As I learn more about the Global Food Crisis, I become increasingly convinced that THIS is our opportunity to live out Proverbs 3:27-28.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow" — when you now have it with you.What will you do?

For some reason I couldn't get the video to play, BUT I know where you were going with this and couldn't agree more. I have been more and more aware of the this essence of the gospel. I wrote a post a while back on the hot/cold/lukewarm passage in Revelations and brought out Christ's desire for the church to feed his sheep both spiritually and physically. In fact, the offerings that were collected and sent to Jerusalem weren't used as Salaries for those in the ministry, rather they were distributed to feed the poor, the orphaned, the widowed.
